Poster for magazine

This is the finished poster for my artist's new album. I feel it fits the coventions of the genre with dark colours and the sense that you don't know what's going on in the picture. I also think it challenges the conventions with the use of the red rose and the other light colours.

Editing Problems

One problem that I came across was that my footage wasn't compatible with an editing programme so I had i had to convert all of my footage individually.

Another problem I had was getting to use my actor as we both had a busy timetable so I had to get as much footage as I could when we were filming.

Location Recess



   

Possible magazine advert location.

I had started to find locations for not only the music video but the magazine advert too. I thought for the advert of a setting in a field or woods. I see my artist standing alone in a tree line for the advert with his name and album around him. 

I think that this would be a suitable location for the magazine advert.

 

For my music video I think using my actors house because it has large rooms and lots of space as well as having multiple instruments that will suit the video.
I also will use the surronding area of the house in my video.
